Earlier this year, the legion of Rob Schremp fans were concerned that the unimaginable might happen: the end of Rob Schremp hockey! Yes, Rob Schremp failed to earn a roster position with the Edmonton Oilers and was placed on waivers by Steve Tambellini. However, not only did Rob Schremp get picked up on waivers by the New York Islanders, but he's also recently found himself with a roster spot on the New York Islanders' second line. Okay, if that wasn't good enough for the rabid Schremp fans, he apparently bumped Steve Tambellini's son Jeff off the roster for that spot--not quite a case of revenge being a dish better served cold...
Okay, so Rob Schremp hockey is alive and well for now. He's playing in the NHL on the New York Islanders... all is well in the Schremp hockey universe, right? Things have recently gotten even better for Rob Schremp hockey. No, I don't think that he's leading the league in scoring or playing with John Tavares on the 1st line, but the Rob Schremp hockey legacy has been born. Recently, a nine year old kid has copied Rob Schremp's favorite shootout move showing that Rob Schremp hockey will now live on well past Rob Schremp himself.
Here's the video:
